The first ever Scottish Sea Farms triathlon festival takes place on Sunday (28 May) at Stirling University Campus.
Almost 100 people have signed up for this family friendly event which aims to raise £20,000 for six employee-nominated charities; Beatson Cancer Charity, Brain Tumour Research, Cancer Research UK, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and The UK Sepsis Trust.
Entertainment includes performances from the Oban Pipe Band and The Clan, Scotland’s Cycle Stunt Team. Both organisations receive support from Scottish Sea Farms Heart of the Community Trust.
Scott Landsburgh, chief executive of the Scottish Salmon Producers’ Organisation said:
“Keeping fit and staying active is an important part of maintaining a healthy workforce and I’m delighted to see Scottish Sea Farms introducing this event as part of their community offering. I wish them well in their first endeavour”.
